The objective of the game is to find all the hidden words in the grid in the shortest time. Words can be discovered horizontally, vertically, diagonally or backwards. Swipe and drag to select words in the grid once they are found, starting with the first letter of the word. The game has 4 difficulty modes from easy to expert.
Well, of course! Here’s a few reasons:
● Challenging
That is, if you make it hard enough. Set a time limit, work with larger puzzles etc. This will constantly refresh your brain, for example, if you just woke up, you can do a wee little bit of word search to wake your brain up.
● Improving your vocabulary
The word search puzzle will help you expand your vocabulary as well as improve your spelling knowledge.
● Concentration
Doing word searches can help you focus and concentrate better in other situations. At least that is if you enjoy word searching.
● More systematic brain
Often searching a seemingly endless ocean of letters forces you to search in a systematic way, for example going row by row instead of randomly testing your luck. If you do this often enough you’ll find that your brain gets slightly better at organizing stuff.
● Choose a word and look for the first letter of that word in the grid, then look at all possible directions from that letter.
● Look for words row by row. You can go through all the horizontal rows first, then the vertical and diagonal rows.
● Look at the words backwards. For example, if you searched for words from left to right, now you can search from right to left.

Word Search is a word game that consists of the letters of the words placed in a square shaped grid. The objective of this puzzle is to find all the words hidden inside the box. Words can be placed horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Under each puzzle there is a list of hidden words and after you find a word, it will be crossed out (marked as solved).
Word search is not only a great way to pass the time, but also a great exercise for keeping your brain fit. This game improves memory (both short and long term memory), logical and strategic thinking, expands vocabulary, and improves spelling skills.
The history of Word Search can be traced back to the late 1960s. It is believed that the first Word Search puzzle was created by Norman E. Gibbs, a teacher in Newport Beach, California. Gibbs created the game as a tool to help his students improve their vocabulary and spelling skills. He called the game "Word-Find" and it quickly became popular among his students and other teachers.
Over the years, Word Search puzzles have evolved and expanded, appearing in newspapers, magazines, and books. With the rise of computers and the internet, Word Search has become a popular online game, with many websites and apps offering the ability to play the game or create custom puzzles.
Today, Word Search is enjoyed by millions of people around the world, who play it for fun, education, or as a form of mental exercise. It has become a staple of puzzle games and continues to be a popular pastime for people of all ages.
